The staff, students and parents of Osborne State School welcome you to our community. In partnership with parents, our purpose is to create positive learning experiences within a comfortable, challenging, safe and happy environment with emphasis placed on individual needs and learning styles. There is a high focus on Literacy, Numeracy and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).
Our facilities include two air-conditioned learning areas and a resource Centre housing our library and Computer lab. All resources are of high quality and up to date.
An open–air hall is used as a play area during the day and a function area on special occasions. The school also has a well cared for tennis court, oval, junior and senior playgrounds. Shady trees and covered play areas provide welcome relief from the sun.
The school is assisted by a supportive Parents and Citizens Association. The P&C assists with the purchase of curriculum resources and subsidising excursions and camps. Parents are encouraged to be actively involved in the school community.
