At Osborne State School our curriculum unit plans are designed to cater for students in multi-age classes by providing differentiated learning experiences.
Our curriculum is aligned with the Australian Curriculum in English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, Health and Physical Education (HPE), The Arts and History. In all other subject areas our curriculum is aligned with the Essential Learnings and Standards of the Queensland Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting (QCAR) Framework.
Languages Other Than English (LOTE) are offered through distance education in partnership with the Charters Towers School of Distance Education for students in Grade 5 and 6.
Curriculum planning is reviewed and updated each year to ensure our curriculum programs are aligned to new syllabus requirements as they are released.
