The competition was fierce last Friday night at the Osborne State School Trivia Night.  Nine teams battled it out through eight gruelling rounds of trivia with Cool Cats coming out on top.  The team, consisting of Helen and Ian Becke and Melissa and Brian Ritchie accrued a score of 72 points across the evening.  During the night, there was also a mini-auction with lots including artwork created by senior students Craig Becke and Kimba Stott-Matthews, gift hampers and various vouchers donated by many generous local businesses.  The auction raised over $700 for the school’s P&C Committee, with the night raising in excess of $1500 in total.  This funding will be used to assist senior students Craig and Kimba in attending the upcoming Scinspiration Science Tour to Canberra and to purchase resources for the school.  We would like to sincerely thank all those local businesses who generously supported the evening and all those who attended; a great night was had by all.  We look forward to seeing you at our school again soon.
