Welcome to Osborne State School's new Websites for Schools website, which was launched on Friday 28 June 2013.
Websites for Schools is an initiative of the Department of Education, Employment and Training. The department engaged an external company to conduct research on school parents’ experiences with school websites. The study found parents wanted a more consistent user experience when searching for information about a school. The Websites for Schools team used findings from this research to create a consistent site structure based on the information parents wanted to see on a school website. Built using Microsoft SharePoint technology, these websites are easy for schools to update and maintain and will meet Queensland Government standards.
Please appreciate that at this stage the our new website is still in the development phase, and as such new pages will be added over the following weeks to cater for all of the different areas in our school. So keep checking back to find out what has been added to our website.
