Wednesday 29 August saw over half of our Osborne families come together to share dinner and enjoy an evening playing board games in the school library.  The evening kicked off at 6:30pm, with a veritable feast of yummy foods in our ‘pot-luck’ dinner.  Thanks to the amazing cooking skills of our Mums and Dads, we tucked into plates loaded with potato bake, sausages, pasta bake, steak, coleslaw, chicken as well as hot chips. Once our bellies were satisfied, we pulled out the board games and the fun began!  Blaize, Ryland and Daly enjoyed a very competitive game of ‘Tumbling Chimps’ which tested their fine motor skills, while Tim, Ryland and Craig battled out in a very tight game of ‘Guess Who?” using their questioning skills to deduct who their opponent was.   Druce and Lachlan faced off in a game of ‘Monopoly Millionaire’ testing their skills in Maths.  It was a fabulous night and we look forward to having another Family Board Games Night soon.
