On Friday 5 August, the students and staff boarded the 'party bus' and headed for Clare State School to compete in the annual Burdekin Small Schools' Athletics Carnival. The senior students competed in events such as running events, shot put, high jump and long jump while the junior students competed in tabloid events including sock put, sprints and hoop jumps. All of our students competed well and we were very proud of their efforts. Both Kasharna and Ryland were selected to compete in the District Athletics Carnival in a variety of events - good luck Ryland and Kasharna!
